Schedule of Sapa’s Hill-Tribes & Bac Ha Sunday Market
Day 1: Hanoi – Sapa Hill-Tribes
Morning: Pick up you at your hotel in Hanoi then depart to Sapa town in Lao Cai province, about 318km north-west of Hanoi with 5 hours drive. Take short break on the way for a rest and coffee…
Noon-time: Arrive at Sapa town then have lunch at local restaurant and check in homestay for a rest
Afternoon: Take a walk around the town to explore Sapa Stone Church, Ham Rong mount and flower garden or Visit O Quy Ho pass which is known as one of four Great Pass in Vietnam with over 50 Km in length, Check-in the Heaven Gate, Silver Waterfall and Rong May Glass Bridge or Dragon and Cloud glass bridge (Ticket is not included)
Beside that you may like to conquer Fansipan peak, known as the roof of Indochina which is 3.143m above sea levels by cable car and funicular railway. This around trip will take you about 3 hours (Ticket is not included).
Evening: Have dinner at local restaurant and free time to explore nightlife in Sapa

Day 2: Hiking to Y Linh Ho – Lao Chai – Ta Van Villages
Morning: Get up early to enjoy the clean and fresh atmosphere of mountainous area then have breakfast and tea, coffee at homestay.
After breakfast, you will take 6km of hiking down to the south east of Sapa town then walking along the side valley of of Muong Hoa to Y Linh Ho village of the Black H’mong. Then continue a 2km-hiking down to Lao Chai village, through terraced rice fields to Ta Van village of the Dzay minority people.
Noon-time: Have lunch at a local family, it gives you a worth chance for you to learn about the local house architecture, culture, tradition which are full of their daily life styles and exclusive custom. Enjoy the imposing landscapes of hill-tribes area…on the way. Get back to homestay in late afternoon.
Evening: Have dinner at local restaurant to simple the local cuisine.

Day 3: Hiking to Cat Cat & Sin Chai Villages
Morning: Enjoy the peaceful scenery of Sapa in the early morning with cloud flying around your face. Have breakfast at homestay.
After breakfast, you will take a walk down to the South-west of Sapa (around 4 km) to visit Cat Cat village of the Black H’mong. Relaxing at the food of the imposing waterfall and the vestige of a hydroelectric power station which was constructed by the French during the colonial time in Vietnam.
Noon-time: Enjoy your lunch by the side of the stream, and then next hiking of 6 km to Sin Chai village which is located at the foot of Fansipan Mountain, known as “the roof of Vietnam and Indochina” at the heigh of 3.143m above sea level. From here, you can enjoy huge stunning landscapes before climbing up on the way and take car to return to homestay.
Evening: Have dinner at local restaurant to taste the local cuisine.

Day 4: Sapa – Bac Ha Sunday Market – Hanoi
Morning: Immerse yourself in the peaceful scenery of Sapa in the early morning then have breakfast at homestay.
Check out your homestay and pack up your luggages then depart to Bac Ha Sunday Market which is located at Bac Ha mountainous town, about 110km from Sapa. It is well-known by travelers with the most colorful market of the hill tribes in the North of Vietnam.
This hill tribes every sunday market attended by at least 8 ethnic minority groups and opens at 9:00 AM until 2:00 PM. Beside Bac Ha Sunday Market, you will also have chance to discover the H’mong King’s Palace (this old building was built by the French & Chinese).
Noon-time: Have lunch at local restaurant at Ba Ha market.
In the afternoon, you will go for a light trek to visit Ban Pho village which is home to the flower H’mong people. You will be invited to visit several local ethnic houses at village to have some green tea, corn wine, listen to the host talking about their family, talk to them… and then enjoy landscapes on a roundabout way to Bac Ha Sunday Market for get back to Hanoi.
