Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival in Sapa and Cat Cat Village Exploration
Morning: Hotel pick-up and Depart from Hanoi to Sapa by private car. We will take some stops on the way for leisure.
Noon: Upon your arrival in Sapa, you’ll be greeted by the serene beauty of mist-covered mountains and lush green valleys. Check into your homestay or hotel (optional), where you’ll have the opportunity to freshen up before having lunch and embarking on your first Sapa trekking adventure.
Afternoon: We’ll begin our exploration with a trek to Cat Cat Village, nestled in a picturesque valley just a short distance from Sapa town. As we make our way through the village, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the daily life of the local Black H’mong ethnic minority.
Marvel at the traditional H’Mong houses lining the village paths and witness the skilled artisans at work, crafting intricate textiles and handicrafts. Our journey will lead us to a mesmerizing waterfall, where you can take a moment to pause and soak in the tranquil surroundings.
Continuing our exploration, we’ll learn about the region’s history at the vestiges of a French colonial-era hydroelectric power station. As the day draws to a close, we’ll return to Sapa town for leisure.
Evening: A delicious dinner awaits, showcasing the flavors of authentic Vietnamese cuisine. After dinner, you’ll have the opportunity to relax and reflect on the day’s adventures, surrounded by the warmth and hospitality of your homestay or hotel in Sapa. Day 2: Muong Hoa Valley – Y Linh Ho, Lao Chai, Ta Van Villages
Morning: Breakfast at your accommodation and get ready for the second Sapa trekking day.
Today’s adventure takes us deeper into the enchanting landscapes and vibrant cultures of Sapa. We start our day with a refreshing trek through the picturesque countryside, beginning with a scenic 6km journey to Y Linh Ho village. Along the way, you’ll be captivated by the terraced rice fields and verdant valleys that stretch as far as the eye can see.
Continuing our trek, we descend 2km to Lao Chai village, where the Black H’mong ethnic minority resides. Here, you’ll have the opportunity to immerse yourself in the rich traditions and daily life of the local community. Marvel at the intricate craftsmanship of traditional textiles and learn about the agricultural practices that sustain the village.
Noon: Lunch at a local family’s home in Lao Chai village.
Afternoon: We continue our journey to Ta Van village, home to the Dzay minority people. Trekking 2km through lush rice paddies and bamboo forests, you’ll be greeted by the warm hospitality of the villagers and the breathtaking beauty of their surroundings.
As the day comes to a close, we return to Sapa town, where you can relax and unwind after a day of unforgettable experiences. Reflect on the cultural encounters and natural wonders you’ve encountered, knowing that tomorrow holds even more adventures in store.
Day 3: Suoi Thau, Ma Tra, Ta Phin Villages Exploration
Morning: Breakfast will be served at your hotel/homestay.
Today, we embark on an exhilarating journey to explore the lesser-known treasures of Sapa. Our adventure begins with a scenic drive to Suoi Thau, a charming village nestled amidst rolling hills and lush forests. Here, we’ll immerse ourselves in the tranquility of rural life, surrounded by pristine nature and breathtaking mountain vistas.
From Suoi Thau, we trek through verdant landscapes to reach Ma Tra village, home to the Red Dzao ethnic minority. As we wander through the village, you’ll have the opportunity to interact with local villagers and learn about their unique customs and traditions. Marvel at the traditional architecture of the stilt houses and admire the intricate handicrafts produced by skilled artisans.
Noon: Lunch at a local homestay in Ta Phin village.
Afternoon: Continuing our exploration, we make our way to Ta Phin village, where the Red Dzao people have lived for generations. Your day begins with a thrilling ascent to Fansipan Peak, the highest mountain in Vietnam and the entire Indochina Peninsula. As you trek to the summit, you’ll be awed by the breathtaking panoramic views that unfold before us, showcasing the rugged beauty of the surrounding landscape.
After descending from Fansipan Peak, you continue our adventure with a visit to Ho Quy Ho Pass, a scenic mountain pass renowned for its stunning vistas and dramatic landscapes.
